From the early morning of August 29, the Phu Trach commune area, Quang Tri province was devastated. Many trees fell, dozens of reinforced concrete electric poles were broken in half by the storm Bualoi.

Many houses with corrugated iron roofs were blown off. On Highway 1 passing through this commune, many traffic signs fell down and lay horizontally on the road. Traffic police and local people worked together to clear the fallen trees to allow vehicles to pass on this route. According to the reporter, many houses in this area had their roofs blown off.

Mrs. Trinh Thi Le (71 years old) had her tiled roof house torn off by the storm and fell to the ground in ruins.

"The storm swept through the night, for many hours. Strong winds tossed the roof tiles of my house up into the sky and then they fell down with a loud crash, breaking everything. I had to hold my head and run to a neighbor's house nearby to avoid the storm at night," Mrs. Le recalled in shock.
