Submit the film "Red Rain" to the 98th Oscar preliminary round

(CT) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a decision on sending Vietnamese films to participate in the preliminary round of the 98th International Feature Film Awards Oscar.

Specifically, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the People's Army Cinema to send the feature film "Red Rain" to participate in the preliminary round of the 98th International Feature Film Awards - Oscars organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of the United States. The People's Army Cinema coordinated with the Cinema Department to register the film to participate, submit documents according to the regulations of the Oscar Organizing Committee and send DCP copies of the film and film discs with English subtitles to the Award Organizing Committee.

“Red Rain” is a film directed by Dang Thai Huyen, telling the story of the 81-day and night battle in Quang Tri Citadel. The film created a big buzz, bringing in a historic revenue of 714 billion VND, attracting more than 8.1 million viewers to the theater.
