Artists sublimate with 20,000 audiences: Ha Anh Tuan, Den Vau, Vu burn out
On the evening of May 31, the Forestival 2025 music night opened at Khe Coc Island - the core area of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Ninh Binh , attracting nearly 20,000 spectators. The event gathered many singers such as: Ha Anh Tuan, Den Vau, Phan Manh Quynh, Hoang Dung, tlinh, Vu Cat Tuong...
Ha Anh Tuan humorously teased Den Vau that he was "too tall" making the audience laugh out loud.

One of the most special moments of the show was when Ha Anh Tuan and Den Vau performed the mashup Mo - Khuc hat chim troi - a gentle arrangement, like a whisper in the middle of waking nature. Before that, the two had made the stage explode in Hide and Seek with Den's whispering rap like telling a story, while Ha Anh Tuan supported with his high-pitched, emotional voice.
“The most annoying thing about this guy is that he’s… too tall,” Ha Anh Tuan humorously teased Den Vau, bringing laughter to the audience. After the poignant duet of The Song of the Sky Birds , Ha Anh Tuan continued to keep the audience in their gentle memories with a series of familiar solo performances: April is your lie, Which month do you miss me, That’s it, A drunken night, Roses…
In contrast to Ha Anh Tuan’s elegant, classic look, Den Vau brought to the stage a more familiar and somewhat… dusty image. The male rapper wore an earth-colored khaki jacket, dark jeans, and dusty shoes, as if he had just finished a picnic.
Den Vau wore simple, rustic clothes from the forest planting trip to Cuc Phuong on May 30, creating a close and genuine impression on stage.
He revealed to the audience: “I wore this outfit on a forest planting trip in Ninh Binh the other day, I just washed it and wore it again.” The simple statement made the whole audience laugh – a very typical way of “showing off” of Den, sincere and rustic like his music .
After that, Den Vau performed a series of songs with strong personal colors: Following the sun's shadow, Running away together, Wandering, Guess what I'm thinking, Cooking for you and Bringing money back to mom.
As the night gradually fell, Phan Manh Quynh appeared in the quiet space with familiar songs such as: From there, There is a boy who writes on the tree and especially Loi hen - the soundtrack song of the movie Detective Kien: The headless case , performed live for the first time.
Phan Manh Quynh shows his charming sense of humor, alongside emotional songs.
Phan Manh Quynh shared: “I went to Ninh Binh in 7th grade, now I come back, I can sit on a boat with my family to see the mountains, the beauty is overwhelming. Six people spent 250,000 VND but it was so much fun!”
One of the most anticipated performances was by “indie prince” Vu. The male singer brought a deep atmosphere with love songs such as: Words of love for you, I remember, That rainy season, Forgotten promises …
In the emotional musical space, he suddenly burst into tears in front of the warm affection of the audience. “Tonight, I hope everyone has a beautiful dream, because we are together enjoying a memorable vacation in Trang An,” he expressed.
Not only stopping at the quiet moments, singers such as: Hoang Dung, tlinh, Quang Hung MasterD, Chillies, Vu Cat Tuong continued to light up the Forestival 2025 stage with colorful performances, bringing a complete musical experience in the heart of Trang An heritage.
Hoang Dung was the first to “activate” the audience’s emotions with a series of hits: Twenty, Compass, Lean on me and listen to me sing, Muse and Weak. He also introduced the new song Weekend – a song with a relaxing, positive spirit, which will appear in the album released next July.
Immediately after that, tlinh stepped onto the stage dressed as Tinkerbell, gracefully asking the audience: "Do I look pretty in this outfit today?".
The female singer "enchanted" the space with a series of songs: What does love mean, Crazy person, Release zìn zìn, ... making the stage in the middle of the night forest explode with emotions.
Tlinh (middle) appeared radiant in a Tinkerbell-inspired outfit.
“I feel like I’m using magic to connect with people. Maybe I’m the luckiest person to sing in the middle of such a natural heritage,” tlinh said excitedly.
Quang Hung MasterD made a strong impression with his explosive performance and captivating choreography. He created a vibrant atmosphere with a series of hits such as First Love Too Drunk, Laughing Eyes, and Tide, making the whole space explode with the cheers of thousands of spectators.
Impressing with a series of vibrant songs and eye-catching choreography, Quang Hung MasterD also suddenly stepped down from the stage and gave a ring to a female audience member amidst cheers.
Not stopping at the stage, the male singer suddenly stepped down to the audience area, creating an unforgettable moment when he personally gave the ring to a lucky female fan. This spontaneous, romantic action made the crowd burst with emotion, contributing to creating a memorable highlight of the music night.
The band Chillies continues to take the audience into a romantic space with Why, Don't Cry, 8th Cloud, Sun Avenue and Memory Zone.
Vu Cat Tuong brought deep melodies with Mo, Vo Cuc, Tung La, Nguoi Binh Thuong. She cleverly said: "I know I'm not the most popular artist tonight, but today's audience is the cutest I've ever met!"
When music becomes a tribute to the green forest
Not only gathering many famous artists, the festival also arouses cultural pride through performances imbued with Vietnamese identity. In the performance Ninh Binh shines with heritage , 8 Xam voices from the ancient capital harmonized with beatboxer Trung Bao, creating a musical dialogue between tradition and modernity.
Immediately after, the melody of "Message to the Peach Garden Guest" resounded with emotion - like a whisper, awakening in each person the memory of their roots.
Beatboxer Trung Bao and young artists from the Xam Ha Thi Cau Club created a performance that blended traditional and modern music.
The performance was performed by the Xam Ha Thi Cau Club (Yen Phong Commune, Yen Mo District) - where Ms. Nguyen Thi Man, daughter of the late artist Ha Thi Cau, continues to preserve and pass on the passion. Xam Ninh Binh has been recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage (2021) and is currently preparing a dossier to submit to UNESCO.
Not stopping at the artistic experience, before that, thousands of audiences and artists joined hands to plant 1,000 trees at Cuc Phuong National Park - the opening action for the 1,000 green sprouts project associated with the commitment to green living and sustainable tourism.
Some artists also directly participate in non-musical activities. Ha Anh Tuan, Den Vau and Phan Manh Quynh, along with many artists and volunteers, walk through the forest to collect trash and plant trees...
Singer Ha Anh Tuan shared: “Everyone has the right to plant a tree, because trees are hope. I believe a rich and powerful country is one that knows how to preserve its natural heritage.”
Singer Den Vau expressed his joy at participating in the Cuc Phuong forest planting event, contributing to spreading the message of environmental protection to the community.
Den Vau also expressed his sincere thoughts about the hard work of forest rangers. “Has anyone ever planted a forest? It’s great! But only when you go into the forest do you realize how hard it is for forest rangers. I went for a day and was exhausted (meaning very tired - PV), but they work their whole lives…” – a simple appeal but touched the hearts of thousands of viewers at the program.
At the event, Hoang Dung also emotionally shared about the meaning of environmental protection and the responsibility to preserve nature for future generations. “Touching the soil, listening to birds chirping and seeing plastic waste mixed with rotten leaves – I understand that I need to change my way of life,” he said.
MC Phi Linh also contributed to conveying the meaningful message of green living when leading the audience to the image of the rare white-rumped langur - the "treasure" of Ninh Binh - suddenly appearing on stage.
From more than 40 individuals, the langur population in Van Long Nature Reserve has increased to about 250 – accounting for nearly 70% of the global population. This is not only an achievement of conservation work, but also a clear proof: when humans go hand in hand with nature, heritage will be preserved in the most sustainable and powerful way.
During the exchange, 3 lucky audience members received signed shirts from MC Phi Linh (second from right).
In the space of Khe Coc island, music is not only heard by the ears but also felt by the heart, by the breath of nature and by the practical actions of each participant.
Phuong Dung (born 1998), an audience member attending the program, shared: “The music night was truly meaningful. The music was not only uplifting but also conveyed a message of environmental protection. I was very happy to see the artists giving their all, spreading positive energy to everyone."
