At Chi Dong Primary School and Phu Minh Primary School, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha inspected the conditions for ensuring the organization of boarding meals for students, the process of organizing boarding meals, transportation, reception, preservation process, food sample storage, facilities conditions...; at the same time, went to each classroom, monitored the process of teachers and students implementing the process of implementing the pilot model of boarding meals for students at schools in the direction of organizing centralized ready-made meals.

Discussing with units about the pilot organization of semi-boarding meals for students in Quang Minh and Noi Bai communes, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha said: Implementing the direction of the Central and City Party Committee, Hanoi is implementing a pilot organization of semi-boarding meals for students in Hanoi in the direction of organizing ready-made meals to control the entire process and reduce intermediaries. The city will strictly control input materials when supplying the food chain, monitor the processing process, as well as build a menu that ensures nutrition, suitable for the age... Thereby, promoting the advantages, researching and replicating the model, contributing to raising awareness of each person in joining hands to ensure food safety and hygiene throughout the city, choosing foods with clear origin; at the same time, demonstrating the responsibility and determination of the entire political system in ensuring food safety and hygiene in the area.

After implementing the Program of surprise inspection of the pilot work of organizing boarding meals for students in Quang Minh and Noi Bai communes, the Steering Committee for Food Safety of Hanoi City and members of the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team will meet to evaluate in detail the effectiveness of this pilot model in ensuring food safety and meal quality for students, meeting current practical requirements.
The city's consistent viewpoint is to strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels on the issue of ensuring food safety and hygiene in the new situation, thereby creating a clear change, raising awareness of organizations and individuals in production and business; at the same time, promoting decentralization according to the two-level local government model, promoting the role and responsibility of grassroots authorities, the Fatherland Front, and organizations in coordinating food safety and hygiene management work at the local level.
