Specifically, in February 2024, 1,265 vehicles in Hanoi had more than 5 speeding violations per 1,000km of travel (not including speeding violations of 5km/h or less).
Notably, TH Transport Service Cooperative's contracted vehicle violated the speed limit 1,364 times in one month. Another container truck also belonging to this cooperative was found to have violated the speed limit over 1,000 times.
In addition to the above 2 vehicles, this list also includes 4 vehicles that violated speeding 700 times or more within 1 month.
The Hanoi Department of Transport requests that automobile transport businesses in Hanoi review and check the results of speeding data exploitation. In case of any suspicious data, the unit is requested to submit a specific report in writing before May 13, 2024.
At the same time, implement and comply with business regulations and business conditions according to current laws, focusing on urging drivers and traffic safety departments to properly perform their responsibilities according to the law.
