Hanoi approves plan for National Highway 32

According to the Decision, the route plan (roadbed improvement scope) of National Highway 32, from Tay Dang town to Trung Ha bridge, Ba Vi district, scale 1/500, prepared by the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning, was appraised by the Department of Planning and Architecture.

The route passes through the communes of Vat Lai, Dong Thai, Phu Son, Thai Hoa and Tay Dang town, Ba Vi district. The route is about 7.4km long. The starting point is at Tay Dang town (adjacent to the boundary of the detailed planning of Tay Dang town center). The end point is at the intersection of Trung Ha bridge (in Ba Vi district).

The route is determined in accordance with the Capital's Transport Planning to 2030, with a vision to 2050; the Hanoi Capital's General Construction Planning to 2030, with a vision to 2050; the Ba Vi District's General Construction Planning and is basically expanded on the basis of the existing National Highway 32.

Particularly, the section west of Thai Hoa Commune People's Committee (about from point 13 to point 15; length about 0.5km), the route direction is designed to be straight along the centerline of the adjacent sections (section from point 12 to point 13 and section from point 15 to point 16) to meet the technical requirements corresponding to the route class.

This is a plain level II road, with a typical cross-section size of B=35m including: 2x10.5m roadbed (6 lanes, including 04 motor vehicle lanes and 2 non-motor vehicle lanes), 2m wide median strip, 2x6m wide sidewalks on both sides (the cross-section components of the road will be specifically determined according to the road construction investment project approved by the competent authority.

Intersections between the route and existing and planned level crossings are organized as level crossings. The intersection at the beginning of Trung Ha bridge is studied and implemented as a separate project.

The City People's Committee assigns the Department of Planning and Architecture to check and confirm the profile of the Route Plan (roadbed renovation scope) at a scale of 1/500 in accordance with the content of this Decision; and is responsible for the accuracy of the submitted data.

Ba Vi District People's Committee presides over and coordinates with the Department of Planning and Architecture and related units to organize the public announcement of the Route Plan (roadbed improvement scope) approved by the City People's Committee. Hand over the documents to the People's Committees of the communes: Vat Lai, Dong Thai, Phu Son, Thai Hoa and the People's Committee of Tay Dang town, Ba Vi district to manage the construction planning along both sides of the road and related units to implement the work of preparing construction investment projects according to regulations. Manage architectural planning, grant construction permits for works along both sides of the road according to the construction investment projects approved by competent authorities and the Hanoi City Architecture Management Regulations (Ba Vi district area).

Chairman of Ba Vi District People's Committee, Chairman of the People's Committees of the communes: Vat Lai, Dong Thai, Phu Son, Thai Hoa and Chairman of Tay Dang Town People's Committee, Ba Vi District: responsible for organizing and managing boundary markers, construction of works on both sides of the road according to the Route Plan (scope of roadbed improvement), road safety corridor and approved boundary markers. Inspect and handle cases of planning violations according to authority and regulations of law.
