Hanoi organizes the Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2025-2030 period

On the morning of October 10, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day, at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, Hanoi City held the Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2025-2030 with the participation of nearly 600 delegates representing typical advanced collectives and individuals, good people, good deeds in the city's patriotic emulation movement.

The Congress was jointly organized by the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, with the theme "Solidarity, innovation, creativity, emulation to build a civilized, modern, happy capital". The Congress has the task of summarizing the emulation movement and commendation work in the period of 2020-2025, setting out directions and tasks for the period of 2025-2030, at the same time praising and honoring outstanding collectives and individuals and introducing the Hanoi delegation to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

Attending the Congress were leaders of the Party, State, Central agencies; leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi; representatives of departments, branches, districts, towns; veteran revolutionaries, revolutionary soldiers imprisoned by the enemy, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, National Emulation Fighters of all periods and Outstanding Citizens of the Capital.

In particular, the Congress has nearly 600 delegates who are typical advanced models, good people, and good deeds in the patriotic emulation movement of Hanoi in the period of 2020-2025. During the program, delegates visited the photo exhibition, watched a report on the patriotic emulation movement of the Capital and interacted with some typical examples. The Central and Hanoi leaders will award the title of "National Emulation Fighter" to 2 individuals, the title of "Outstanding Capital Citizen in 2025" to 10 individuals and the title of "Good People, Good Deeds of Hanoi City in 2025" to 14 individuals representing various sectors and fields - who are typical examples among the total of 300 good people and good deeds of the whole city this year.

At the Congress, representatives of Party and State leaders will also give directive speeches; Hanoi leaders will launch the patriotic emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period and introduce the delegation to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

According to Nguyen Cong, Head of the Hanoi City Emulation and Rewards Committee, this Congress has many innovations, instead of reading summary reports, but presenting reports and directly interacting with advanced models. Notably, the Congress does not use paper documents; the gift for delegates is a digital picture frame containing all information, documents and content about the Capital's patriotic emulation movement through the stages.
