Two businesses propose investing in the expressway connecting Ho Tram to Long Thanh airport

Recently, Masterise Group Joint Stock Company has sent a document to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to request permission to prepare a pre-feasibility study report for the expressway project connecting Ho Tram Tourist Area (Ho Chi Minh City) to Long Thanh International Airport in Dong Nai province.

Regarding the investment form, the enterprise proposed to implement it according to the public-private partnership (PPP) method in the form of a BT contract with payment by land fund.

In particular, Masterise proposed that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee pay for the 147-hectare land planned to build Truong Tho Urban Area in Thu Duc ward.

Previously, Masterise Group also proposed the City People's Committee to allow research into investment in projects such as Phu My 2 Bridge and Can Gio Bridge under the public-private partnership (PPP) method in the form of BT contracts with payment by land fund.

Also interested in this Project is Ho Tram Project Company Limited (investor of Ho Tram Tourist Area).

In an official dispatch sent to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Ho Tram Project Company Limited wishes to implement the expressway project connecting Ho Tram Tourist Area to Long Thanh International Airport.

The project is over 42 km long, divided into 2 component projects. In which, component project 1 is about 6,080 billion VND for site clearance and access roads, implemented by public investment capital; and component project 2 is about 4-lane highway construction, with capital of 13,441 billion VND, implemented by capital mobilized from enterprises.

Regarding the investment plan, the enterprise proposed to implement it according to the public-private partnership (PPP) method in the form of a BT contract with payment by land fund.

The land plots proposed by the enterprise to be paid for the BT contract are located in Nam Chau Duc Industrial Urban Area and Ho Tram 2 Resort Urban Area.

After receiving the investor's proposal, the HCM City Department of Finance is currently consulting with departments, branches, wards and communes to have a basis for synthesizing and advising the HCM City People's Committee.
