Two Deputy General Directors of LPBank resign

LPBank's Board of Directors (BOD) has just passed a Resolution to dismiss Ms. Le Thi Thanh Nga and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung from the position of Deputy General Director from June 1, 2024, according to their personal wishes. It is known that Ms. Le Thi Thanh Nga has more than 22 years of experience in the banking and finance sector. She joined LPBank in 2008 and was appointed Deputy General Director on January 6, 2016.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung joined LPBank in 2009 and was appointed Deputy General Director on December 2, 2013. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking and finance sector.

Having held many positions and many years of working at LPBank, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Nga and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung have both successfully completed their assigned tasks, making many important contributions to the strong development of the Bank. After the decision to dismiss 2 Deputy General Directors, LPBank's Board of Directors has 9 members including Mr. Ho Nam Tien - General Director and 8 Deputy General Directors. Recently, LPBank was approved by the State Bank to increase its charter capital to 33,576 billion VND, placing it in the group of banks with the largest charter capital in the system, affirming its position as a joint stock commercial bank with a large network across 63 provinces and cities. In terms of business activities, LPBank recorded pre-tax profit in the first quarter of 2024 reaching 2,886 billion VND, an increase of nearly 85% over the same period in 2023 and completing more than 27% of the yearly plan.
