Following the success of three consecutive festivals (2022, 2023, 2024), the Traditional Wrestling Competition of the Mac Dynasty will be held for the fourth time on the occasion of Spring At Ty 2025.
This event aims to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025) and aims to complete the dossier to propose the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to recognize it as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
According to Dr. Hoang Van Ke - Head of the Organizing Committee, the tournament is like a legacy, a continuation of the unique folk festival that was initiated and taught by Emperor Mac Dang Dung 5 centuries ago.
Thereby, contributing to arousing the martial spirit and indomitable will of our ancestors, educating the tradition of patriotism and training the health of the young generation.

This is also an opportunity to honor the historical and cultural values of the Mac Dynasty, connect the community and promote local tourism development.
The 4th contest will take place from February 8-10, 2025 (January 11-13, At Ty year) at the Temple of the Mac Dynasty Kings, Kien Hung commune, Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong.
The competition is part of the National Wrestling Federation's tournament system, attracting famous wrestlers from across the country.
Participants are athletes from provinces, cities and industries, each unit sends one athlete for one weight category.
The competition consists of two parts, men's wrestling with 8 weight classes and women's wrestling with 2 weight classes. Competition rules apply according to the regulations of the Vietnam Wrestling Federation.
The prize includes 1 Gold Medal worth 5,000,000 VND, 1 Silver Medal worth 3,000,000 VND and 2 Bronze Medals worth 2,000,000 VND
