On the Chinese side, comrade Wang Weibing, Chief of Nanning Customs, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) was the head of the delegation.

At the meeting, delegates assessed that since the 10th meeting, with the joint efforts and positivity of all 4 customs units of the two countries, the contents of the exchange and cooperation agreements have achieved many encouraging results. In particular, customs clearance activities through border gates have been promoted, customs clearance efficiency has increased significantly compared to 2024. The parties regularly carry out information exchange activities and support each other in the fight against violations of Customs laws. Vietnam Regional Customs with Nanning Customs (China) has carried out 29 exchange letters, providing periodic/ad hoc information on anti-smuggling work, verification results of enterprises, documents in customs declarations and supporting the provision of information to serve the work of collecting evidence of violations.
Customs units of Ta Lung - Thuy Khau, Soc Giang - Binh Mang ( Cao Bang ); Mong Cai (Quang Ninh) - Dong Hung; Huu Nghi - Huu Nghi Quan, Coc Nam - Lung Nghiu (Lang Son) have held 8 talks at Km 0 with the following contents: Facilitating import and export activities of goods through pairs of border gates; coordinating in the fight against smuggling, illegal transportation of drugs, trade fraud...

Vietnam's regional customs departments proactively and actively exchange with Nanning Customs to continue creating an open and favorable environment for import-export and immigration activities; proactively and actively advise the Provincial People's Committee in exchanging and negotiating with Chinese authorities to restore and promote import-export activities at border gates and openings; request the Chinese side to extend working hours, especially on holidays to increase the capacity for customs clearance of import-export goods; create favorable conditions for import-export goods.

The total import-export turnover of goods through the area is about 76 billion USD, an increase of 21.5% compared to the same period of the 10th meeting. The main export goods are agricultural products, aquatic products, seafood, electronic components, peeled wood panels, knitted textiles... Main import goods: Automobiles, trucks, machinery, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, auto components, consumer goods...

Promoting the achieved results, the 11th "Two countries, four sides" talks in Cao Bang province were held to continue consolidating and strengthening the friendly cooperation relationship between the customs bordering the two countries Vietnam and China; contributing to opening up directions for healthy, stable and increasingly better trade development. With the motto " Peace - Friendship - Cooperation - Sustainable Development" and the spirit of working urgently, actively, responsibly, sincerely, trustingly, and understanding each other, the parties discussed and reached important agreements in the fields, specifically: Strengthening cooperation, information exchange; strengthening activities to facilitate import and export goods, people and vehicles entering and exiting through border gates; coordinating the fight against smuggling...
Within the framework of the talks, leaders of the four customs agencies of the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the contents and cooperation programs to implement the task of managing import and export goods to facilitate trade and contribute to the economic development of border areas.
