Restricted water traffic on many northern routes

The Inland Waterways Department of Region I has just announced restrictions on inland waterway traffic at Dap Cau Bridge, Ho Bridge, Cam Ly Railway Bridge, Da Phuc Railway Bridge, and Bac Giang Railway Bridge due to heavy rain and floods, high water levels, and large flow speeds.

Traffic restriction time from 5:30 p.m. this afternoon (September 10) until the Inland Waterways Authority of Region I has a new announcement.

Specifically, restrict the area of ​​the waterway through the Dap Cau bridge, with the route Km 36+000 Cau river, in Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province and Viet Yen town, Bac Giang province.

The area of ​​the waterway through the Ho bridge navigation compartment, route Km 31+000 Duong river, in Thuan Thanh town, Bac Ninh province and Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province.

The waterway area through the Cam Ly railway bridge navigation compartment, route Km 12+000 Luc Nam river, in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.

The area of ​​the waterway through the Bac Giang railway bridge, route Km 36+000 Thuong river, in Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province.

The area of ​​the waterway through the Da Phuc railway bridge, route Km 04+000 Cong river, in Soc Son district, Hanoi city and Pho Yen city, Thai Nguyen province.

Restrict inland waterway traffic in the area of ​​the waterway through the navigation compartment of Phu Luong bridge (railway, road), Lai Vu bridge (railway, road), Binh bridge, An Thai bridge, May bridge in Hai Duong province.

Accordingly, all water vehicles are prohibited from passing through the navigational area of ​​these bridges, except for vehicles performing the following tasks: rescue, search and rescue, and traffic safety regulation and guidance.

This agency requires all inland waterway vehicles when going to the above area to absolutely obey the instructions of the authorities, regulate and ensure safety of inland waterway traffic, and strictly comply with the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic.
