Recently, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT-C08, Ministry of Public Security ) put into operation a Command Information Center with modern technology, combined with artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

According to the Traffic Police Department, this Center will fully meet the requirements of state management in the field of traffic, including connecting data on vehicle registration, inspection, tax, customs, health and data from other professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security related to people and vehicles.

Data collected from the camera will be transmitted to the center, then the AI ​​system will analyze to identify behavior and automatically transfer to the management file (folder).

For AI cameras, after recording a vehicle violation, the system will immediately extract related photos/clips with content including: Route, time of violation, behavior... Based on the vehicle registration database, the vehicle owner will be immediately identified.

Currently, AI technology is capable of recognizing about 20 violations and is continuing to be updated. Thanks to that, common errors that are easily missed by traditional cameras and the naked eye of traffic police will be detected. Errors such as not wearing a seat belt, using a phone while driving, or carrying more people than the prescribed number... will be clearly recorded.

In addition, this center also automatically detects acts of insecurity, public disorder, mass gatherings, and facial recognition of wanted subjects. The entire coordination, analysis, recording, and processing of the center is completely automated.

In addition, the Command Information Center also manages the entire traffic police force on patrol and control duty through the digital map system.

The center can view the specific location of each officer, soldier, badge number, phone number, and simultaneously control all patrol vehicles regarding their operational status, working group, and current topic. From there, it can coordinate forces in case of an emergency that needs to be resolved quickly.
