On August 1, Mr. Le Van Binh, Deputy General Director of Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club Joint Stock Company, said that Binh Phuoc Football Club officially changed its name to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai. Thus, Coach Nguyen Viet Thang will lead the Truong Tuoi Dong Nai team. Among his students, there are many famous players such as Cong Phuong, Minh Vuong, Xuan Truong, and Tan Truong.

According to Mr. Binh, this information has also been officially posted by the club on the fanpage of Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club.

Accordingly, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club will officially have a new name: Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club. This decision has received absolute consensus and unanimity from the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), VPF Company and related agencies.

According to Mr. Le Van Binh, on August 1, the club received a response from VFF regarding the recognition of changing the name and logo of Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club.

Accordingly, the VFF Executive Committee has approved the change of name and logo of Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club according to Notice No. 1652/TB-LĐBĐVN dated August 1, 2025 of VFF.

Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club is allowed to use its new name and logo to participate in the domestic football tournament system from the 2025-2026 season. In case the Club is qualified to participate in continental football tournaments, issues related to the Club's name and logo must comply with the regulations and decisions of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the International Football Federation (FIFA).
