Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van affirmed that in the 2025-2030 term, the entire Party Committee, government, army and people of Dong Nai are determined to take advantage of the golden opportunity for breakthrough growth, building Dong Nai to develop green, strong, civilized, modern, striving to achieve the basic targets of a centrally-run city by 2030.

On the morning of September 30, the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, officially opened its session. This is an event of special political significance for the development path of Dong Nai province in the context of entering a new era with the whole country, an era of national growth with many new opportunities, motivations and development prospects.

Speaking at the opening of the congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai Province Vu Hong Van said that, thoroughly grasping Directive No. 45-CT/TW of the Politburo and the Central Committee's guidelines on Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, along with completing the targets for the 2020-2025 term, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee has focused on leading the successful organization of congresses of Party committees under the province, ensuring the correct principles, procedures, and quality, becoming a broad political activity, promoting the intelligence and strength of solidarity among cadres, party members and people.

In addition, the Provincial Party Executive Committee focuses on drafting congress documents that ensure quality, brevity, scientificity, rigor, and compliance with the Central's guidelines.

In which, a draft action program was developed to implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress to ensure "6 clarity": clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear authority to ensure feasibility in organization and implementation immediately after the resolution of the congress is issued.

During the process of drafting the document, the Provincial Party Executive Committee received many enthusiastic and responsible contributions from Party and State leaders, Central departments and branches, former provincial leaders of different periods, Party organizations, socio-political organizations, cadres, party members, intellectuals, scientists, and people from all walks of life.

The opinions contributed to perfecting the documents submitted to the congress and the Politburo highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and dedication of the Provincial Party Executive Committee in drafting the documents with the determination to make a comprehensive breakthrough in the new term.

With 15 thematic reports, 56 discussion reports, of which 12 discussions registered to be presented directly at the congress, along with hundreds of discussions on various fields in groups during the congress, it will contribute to completing the congress documents, ensuring that the documents are close to life, concise, easy to remember, easy to implement and consistent throughout the next 5 years, the documents become textbooks and dictionaries so that when needed, they can be looked up and immediately see the light to guide the way.

According to Secretary Vu Hong Van, in the 2020-2025 term, Dong Nai has experienced many difficulties and challenges, especially in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic, but with the spirit of solidarity of the Party Committee, the government and the people of Dong Nai have resolutely deployed flexible and effective solutions to successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels.

Party building and political system building have been focused on and have seen significant changes. The economy continues to grow at a high rate, with economic growth in the 2021-2025 period reaching 7.11% per year; budget revenue is higher than forecast; and the investment and business environment has improved.

Culture and society have made much progress; social security work has been taken care of; the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved. National defense and security have been maintained, social order and safety have been ensured. Foreign affairs and international integration have been promoted. The people's trust in the Party has been firmly cultivated.

In addition to the achievements, the congress frankly acknowledged that there are still many difficulties and limitations that need to be overcome. The difficulties and limitations have been pointed out by the Provincial Party Executive Committee in the documents submitted to the congress, so this congress must promote the spirit of self-criticism, seriously review, comprehensively evaluate, draw lessons, and propose breakthrough tasks and solutions for the new development stage.

After 4 decades of renovation, under the leadership of the Party, our people overcame countless difficulties and challenges, firmly moving forward to affirm Vietnam's position in the international arena; especially in the context of merging the old Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces, establishing the new Dong Nai province, which created space and potential advantages for Dong Nai to develop.

Currently, Dong Nai has a natural area of ​​nearly 13,000km2, a population of nearly 4.5 million people; the fourth largest economic scale in the country; temperate climate, stable natural conditions, large natural forest area; synchronous traffic infrastructure with all 5 modes of transportation; notably Long Thanh International Airport, Phuoc An deep-water port, expressways that have been and are being deployed;

Dong Nai has a border with Cambodia, Hoa Lu International Border Gate Economic Zone, especially with the formation of Long Thanh airport urban area and a series of urban landscapes along Dong Nai river, which will be a dual driving force to promote the development of trade services, logistics, real estate market, finance, and tourism in the coming time.

Besides, with the leading industrial development in the country, Dong Nai also has strengths in livestock breeding, many branded agricultural products, and great potential for eco-tourism and resorts.
