Dong Nai takes care of social security

Welcoming the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee (term 2025 - 2030), towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the launching ceremony of social housing projects was recently held in the province. This is a clear demonstration of the province's high political determination, along with the cooperation and support of the business community, which is realizing the goal of taking care of social security and improving people's lives.

Dong Nai province commits to continue to accompany and create all favorable conditions for the project to be implemented soon, ensuring regulations and soon put into operation.

Many social housing projects started simultaneously

On the morning of September 27, in Phuoc An commune, Hanoi Construction Corporation - JSC held a launching ceremony for two social housing apartment projects. The first project is a social housing apartment complex on a 3.7ha land plot, with a scale of nearly 1,500 apartments, serving about 6,000 people, with full amenities, expected to be completed in 30 months. The second project is a social housing apartment complex on a 2.1ha land plot, with a scale of about 1,800 apartments, providing accommodation for about 2,800 people, with synchronous infrastructure; completion time within 30 months. Both projects are oriented to become model social housing areas in Dong Nai with the criteria of "reasonable price - good quality - synchronous infrastructure".

On the same day, in Phuoc Tan ward, Him Lam Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the CHC1 and CHC2 Social Housing Project. The project, invested by Him Lam Joint Stock Company, is built on an area of ​​over 1.6 hectares, including two 12-storey apartment buildings with a total investment of about 722 billion VND. After completion, the project will provide accommodation for more than 1,900 people eligible for social housing support. The project not only contributes to solving the housing needs of the people, but also has profound social significance, creating a new urban appearance, contributing to the sustainable development of Dong Nai province.

In Trang Bom commune, the joint venture of investors including Khang Nam Real Estate and Environmental Construction Group Joint Stock Company and Viet Quang Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Social Housing Project on a 3.5-hectare plot of land in Trang Bom commune, expected to provide about 900 - 950 apartments with 77,000 square meters of construction floor; providing accommodation for about 3,500 people. The project's goal is to provide affordable accommodation for local people and workers in neighboring industrial parks. This is one of the projects assigned by the province to the investor in the spirit of piloting a number of mechanisms and policies for social housing development.

Him Lam Joint Stock Company also held a launching ceremony for the Social Housing Project in Hamlet 5, Tan Trieu Ward. With a land use scale of about 2.38 hectares and a total investment of more than 1.3 trillion VND, the Project will build modern and synchronous social housing areas, solving the housing problem for workers, laborers and policy beneficiaries in the area; helping hundreds of households settle down. At the same time, connecting neighboring industrial parks, attracting high-quality labor, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality...

Also on September 27, Dong Nai province held a launching ceremony for the Social Housing Project in Tam Hiep ward, invested by the Joint Venture of Dong Nai Housing and Urban Development Investment Company Limited and Dong Nai Housing Business Joint Stock Company. With a scale of 540 units, the project is expected to be completed and put into operation in early 2028.

Create all favorable conditions for early exploitation

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of two social housing apartment projects in Phuoc An commune, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha requested the investor and the joint venture to speed up the implementation of procedures on construction investment, environment, fire prevention and fighting to organize the construction commencement in October 2025. Pay special attention to the design quality, ensuring that the projects not only meet technical standards but also harmonize in aesthetics and are friendly to the living environment. Focus maximum resources, human resources, and equipment to organize scientific and safe construction, ensure technical and aesthetic quality and keep to the committed schedule. The provincial departments, branches, and sectors and the Phuoc An commune government proactively coordinate, supervise, and promptly remove arising problems, creating the most favorable conditions for the projects to be completed soon.

At the launching ceremony of the Social Housing Project in Tam Hiep Ward, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Kim Long emphasized: this is a project that vividly demonstrates the determination of Dong Nai province in concretizing the major policy of the Party and State on economic development associated with social security. The project not only serves the urgent housing needs of workers, laborers and policy beneficiaries but also contributes to urban beautification, building a civilized and modern living environment, making a practical contribution to the plan to develop 10,000 social housing units in the province.
