Hoa Binh receives 10 international aid projects worth 2.5 million USD

In the first 6 months of the year, Hoa Binh province continued to effectively carry out foreign affairs and international cooperation activities, associated with investment and trade promotion and expanding friendly relations to serve socio-economic development.

With the livelihood model support of CARE International in Vietnam, ethnic minority women's families in Quyet Thang commune (Lac Son) have the conditions to escape poverty.

In the past 6 months, the province has received 10 foreign non-governmental (NGO) aid programs and projects with a total committed value of 2.5 million USD, focusing mainly on the fields of social security, education , health, clean water - environmental sanitation and sustainable community development.

Up to now, there are 31 programs and projects being implemented in the province, with a total cumulative aid value of 9.7 million USD from 16 non -governmental organizations, development cooperation agencies and international donors.

The province has also implemented the signing and implementation of international agreements in a strict, transparent and legal manner, contributing to building the image of Hoa Binh as a proactive and receptive province in development cooperation and always accompanying international donors and organizations for the goal of sustainable development.
