Japanese Crown Prince Akishino and Princess will pay an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from September 20-25.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , at the invitation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Japanese Crown Prince Akishino and Princess will pay an official visit to Vietnam from September 20-25.

The visit to Vietnam by Japanese Crown Prince Akishino and Princess takes place in the context of the Vietnam-Japan relationship being at its best. In particular, the visit takes place on the occasion of the two countries celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (1973-2023).

The Vietnam-Japan Extensive Strategic Partnership has developed strongly and comprehensively in recent years, with a high level of political trust. High-level exchanges and contacts at all levels and channels have been vibrant. Senior leaders of the two countries have maintained regular visits and contacts at international and regional forums.

The two countries are closely coordinating to implement the agreement reached at the online meeting earlier this year between General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio on creating a breakthrough, bringing the bilateral relationship to a new height.
