Conference of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Giving opinions on many important contents

Attending the Conference were representatives of Central Party Committees; Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

At the Conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee reviewed and commented on 18 important contents under its authority. Among them, there was the proposed plan to build the Project of Flood Control System for the central area of Thai Nguyen province and the proposed plan to build the new Gia Bay Bridge Project in Phan Dinh Phung ward.
Previously, floods caused by the circulation of storm No. 11 caused serious damage in Thai Nguyen. Immediately afterwards, General Secretary To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and members of the Politburo inspected the scene, visited and encouraged people and rescue forces in Thai Nguyen province; at the same time, directed the work of responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in the area, both short-term and long-term solutions, including investing in the construction, upgrading and completing the system of dikes to prevent and control floods on both banks of the Cau River, especially the section passing through the center of Thai Nguyen province. The construction of a system of anti-flood works for the central area of Thai Nguyen province and the construction of a new Gia Bay bridge are also the wishes of people in areas affected by floods and rains as well as the people of Thai Nguyen province.
Also at the Conference, delegates gave their opinions on many important issues regarding party building and political system building, such as: Report on a number of activities in the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; draft Working Regulations of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2025 - 2030; draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; draft action programs to implement the resolutions of the 13th Politburo: Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development and Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on a number of breakthrough solutions, strengthening protection, care, and improvement of people's health; and at the same time gave their opinions on many other important issues...

Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong delivered a concluding speech at the Conference.

Speaking at the Conference, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that the Provincial Party Standing Committee basically agreed on the policies for the contents presented at the Conference; requested each Party Building Committee to proactively develop projects and plans to improve the quality of all aspects of work, thereby making specific contributions to the implementation of the goals and targets of the Congress Resolution; requested the Provincial Party Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to strengthen leadership of specialized agencies, do a good job in managing mineral resources, protecting and developing forests, protecting the environment; strengthen national defense and security work, ensuring harmonious, synchronous and sustainable development.

Regarding the construction of the proposed plan for the project of flood prevention works for the central area of Thai Nguyen province and the proposed plan for the construction of the new Gia Bay bridge project, he requested that the drafting agencies and plan developers fully absorb the opinions of the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and continue to consult with experts to ensure the plan is optimal and most effective.

* On the same afternoon, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held the first Conference to discuss and give opinions on important contents under its authority.

At the Conference, delegates were informed about the results of the 13th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, focusing on information on the group of issues on preparations for the 14th National Party Congress; Regulation No. 366-QD/TW dated August 30, 2025 of the Politburo on reviewing, evaluating and classifying the quality of collectives and individuals in the political system.

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and departments and localities spoke at the Conference

Concluding the Conference, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that, in the immediate future, all levels, sectors and localities should focus on implementing synchronous solutions with a spirit of urgency and determination to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, support people to repair houses, restore production; focus on restoring traffic infrastructure, schools, irrigation, and public works so that people can soon stabilize their lives. The Provincial Party Secretary said that the province will soon develop and promulgate mechanisms and policies to encourage households affected by floods due to the impact of storms and floods. Regarding the proposed plan for the project of flood prevention works for the central area of Thai Nguyen province and the proposed plan to build the new Gia Bay bridge construction project, the Provincial Party Secretary stated that the specialized agencies should receive the opinions and suggestions of the localities, study, implement and complete phase 1 of the project soon.

Emphasizing that there are only more than 2 months left until the end of 2025, there is still a lot of work, so all levels and sectors should focus on reviewing and promoting the disbursement of public investment capital, budget collection, promoting exports, and striving to complete the socio-economic targets and targets set for the whole year. The Provincial Party Committee agreed in principle on the projects and submissions to the advisory agency to fully absorb the delegates' discussion opinions to complete the content and submit it to the competent authority for signing and promulgation for implementation.
