Conference on propaganda on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation to promote Vietnam's socio-economic development

On October 22, in Vinh Long, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission coordinated with the Ministry of Science and Technology and Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee to organize a propaganda conference on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation to promote Vietnam's socio-economic development, for southern provinces and cities.

Leaders of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, leaders of Vinh Long province and delegates attended the conference.

Attending the conference were comrades: Huynh Thanh Dat - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Quang Duc - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; delegates of central agencies; comrades in the Central Steering Committee on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; leaders of provinces and cities in the southern region; experts and scientists from institutes and schools.

The leaders of Vinh Long province attending were comrade Tran Van Lau - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Comrade Tran Van Lau - Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.

The conference aims to strengthen propaganda work, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; at the same time, improve implementation capacity and support localities in the process of organizing the implementation of the resolution.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission delivered the opening speech at the conference.

According to the program, Provincial Party Secretary - Tran Van Lau delivered a welcome speech; Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission - Huynh Thanh Dat delivered an opening speech.

The conference has 2 topics: Topic 1 - Initial results of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and directions for action in the coming time.

Topic 2 - Law on Science, Technology and Innovation 2025; breakthrough financial mechanisms and policies; List of strategic technologies and strategic technology products; suggestions for localities and units.
