On the morning of March 25, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a ceremony to launch the project to renovate the drainage system and lay underground information cables and lighting on four inner-city roads: Phan Chau Trinh, Le Loi, Hoang Dieu and Ong Ich Khiem (in Hai Chau and Thanh Khe districts).

Da Nang leaders pressed the button to start the project.

Accordingly, the project aims to contribute to increasing urban aesthetics, ensuring drainage capacity, improving the quality of traffic infrastructure use in the central area of ​​Da Nang, creating a driving force to attract tourists and investors to the city.

The project scale includes: renovating the drainage system, burying power lines, information lines, lighting lines, replacing and planting additional trees; relocating the water supply system and installing additional fire hydrants; installing curbs, re-paving sidewalks with natural granite and renovating reinforced asphalt concrete on 4 routes Phan Chau Trinh, Le Loi, Ong Ich Khiem, Hoang Dieu with a total length of 6.94km.

The project has a total investment of more than 280 billion VND, invested by the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City. Implementation progress is from 2024 to 2026.

Phan Chau Trinh Street is one of four roads with improved drainage systems and underground information and lighting cables.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the project is a premise for the city to continue to renovate the infrastructure of the remaining inner-city roads in the coming time, in order to create a spacious appearance for the entire central area of ​​the city, better serving the development of tourism, the living needs of the people, towards a green, clean and beautiful environment city.

According to Mr. Chinh, this is a project located in the urban center, with high traffic density, so the investor must learn from practical experiences from implemented projects to manage and execute the project on schedule, safely, with quality, and minimize the impact on traffic as well as people's lives.

The Chairman of Da Nang also requested the Department of Construction to send traffic inspectors to coordinate and support traffic regulation during rush hours to minimize traffic congestion...
