On the evening of October 18, more than 3,000 audiences immersed themselves in the musical world of Secret Garden Live in Vietnam at the My Dinh National Convention Center.
The event is part of the Good Morning Vietnam charity project, co-organized by Nhan Dan newspaper, bringing music closer to the community and spreading humanistic values.

The concert opened the 30-year artistic journey of the legendary Nordic band Secret Garden, consisting of Rolf Løvland and Fionnuala Sherry, recreated through footage that made its mark on international stages and iconic concerts.
Each stage of the artists' career is recounted through sound, images and emotions, like a captivating musical autobiography.

The music night opened with the masterpiece Windancer , combined with special effects, taking the audience into a magical world where humans blend with wild nature.
On stage, Fionnuala Sherry and her familiar violin still shine with a soaring style and strong inner strength, while Rolf Løvland quietly sits at the piano, bringing each note to the hearts of the audience.
The moment Nocturne played - the song that helped the band Secret Garden win the Eurovision Song Contest (1995) - the audience exploded.
Fionnuala Sherry's melodious violin, combined with Rolf Løvland's delicate and profound piano keys, create a musical space that is both soft and powerful, full of poetry.
The seemingly simple structure, with only melody and emotion, is what makes Nocturne a work that breaks all contemporary musical frameworks, affirming the minimalist yet profound style typical of Secret Garden.
Immediately after, Song from a Secret Garden was played - the song that is considered the soul of the group. The melody has no words but seems to have a thousand words, gentle but intense, making the audience immersed in a feeling of peace and healing.
The entire audience held its breath listening, then erupted in prolonged applause when the last note sounded.

In particular, the soothing and healing music of Secret Garden plays on the LED screen, simulating Vietnamese nature, from Trang An glowing red at sunset to the golden terraced fields of the Northwest.
The stage, directed by Pham Hoang Nam, was minimalist, with only a band and LED screen, allowing the audience to fully focus on the music and lights, drifting in a vast, magical space like a fairy tale.
Between performances, Rolf Løvland and Fionnuala Sherry chatted intimately with the audience, sharing about the creative process and inspiration behind each song, some of which were written during sleepless nights, some of which were lullabies from their Norwegian childhood memories…
The simple and sincere storytelling makes the auditorium quiet, allowing the listeners to "let their souls drift" with each note of music.
Rolf Løvland shared that every time he performs in a new country, he feels a different energy. “Vietnam brings us very special emotions, which are the warmth, hospitality and sincere love of the audience,” he said.

Besides the classics, songs such as: Windancer, Elan, Lullaby for Grown-ups, Sleepsong, Strength, Steps, The Promise, Stepping Up, Liberty, Renaissance, The dream... have taken the audience through Secret Garden's 30-year musical journey.
The show also featured two singers: Cathrine and Espen, creating a deep harmony. Cathrine's clear voice combined with Espen's warm tone brought a new version to familiar songs, especially You raise me up , becoming more soaring and directly touching the audience's emotions.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Truong Van Son (born in 1987) said that Secret Garden's music is associated with his youthful memories: "Each melody brings me back to my youth, where emotions and music become one, so that each note touches my heart."
After more than 2 hours, the program ended in endless applause, the echoes of familiar melodies still resounding in the hearts of the audience, like a night of music to feel with all your heart.

Secret Garden consists of two members, Fionnuala Sherry and Rolf Løvland, founded in 1994.
In 1995, the group made history by winning the Eurovision Song Contest with Nocturne , breaking the contest's 40-year history by awarding the prize to an ensemble for the first time.
Since then, over the past three decades, Secret Garden has continued to nurture the love of global audiences through 12 albums, starting with Songs from a Secret Garden (1995) and most recently Songs in the Circle of Time (2024).
