Faced with the complicated developments of the epidemic, the Department of Agriculture and Environment advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents directing departments, branches and localities to synchronously deploy epidemic prevention and control measures throughout the province.

Since the beginning of 2025, the whole province has administered 73,200 doses of ASF vaccine. Of these, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine has provided 25,700 doses to communes and wards with epidemics and high risks, while the remaining 47,500 doses were administered by pig farmers themselves.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, disease prevention and control work still faces difficulties. Many localities after the merger have not yet arranged specialized livestock and veterinary staff, so consulting on disease prevention and control at the grassroots level is still limited.

In addition, localities have not yet allocated funds, making it difficult to purchase supplies, chemicals, and vaccines. Therefore, proactive vaccination is an appropriate and effective solution, contributing to preventing the widespread spread of DTLCP.
