In recent years, the VietGap Durian Production Cooperative in Village 14 and Village 16 of Nhan Co Commune has been operating effectively. Members often meet to exchange experiences in growing durian, from the stages of selecting varieties, caring, fertilizing, grafting to finding ways to prevent pests and diseases. Currently, the entire group has 10 households with a durian area of over 40 hectares; the annual output reaches about 400 tons. Households must comply with the rules on the use of fertilizers and pesticides to have safe, high-quality products.
Mr. Nguyen Van Pho, a member of the Safe Durian Production Cooperative in Village 14, said that durian is a crop that is extremely sensitive to weather, fertilizers, and pesticides. Therefore, the members of the group regularly maintain exchanges and learn techniques from each other to achieve the highest production efficiency. The good news is that thanks to the encouragement, the members of the group have applied more evenly the safe cultivation processes that meet VietGAP standards, so the economic efficiency is increasingly stable. Many households have met the standards to serve the export of fresh fruit to the Chinese market.

People can make good use of idle labor, natural food, grow crops for goats, and use goat manure to fertilize crops, creating a cycle in production and increasing income quite well.
