Meeting of the council for coordination in disseminating and educating the law

Provincial delegates attended the meeting at Tuyen Quang bridge.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Long, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister , Chairman of the Council chaired the conference. Attending the conference were leaders of ministries, departments and branches who are members of the Central Council for Legal Dissemination. At the Tuyen Quang bridge, the leader of the Department of Justice chaired the conference; also attending were leaders of departments, departments and branches of the province.

In the 9 months of 2025, implementing the policy of decentralization, decentralization, streamlining the apparatus and operating the 2-level local government model, the Legal Aid Dissemination Council has innovated its composition, functions and tasks on the basis of merging the Legal Aid Dissemination Coordination Council and the Inter-sectoral Coordination Council on Legal Aid (TGPL), adding the task of providing legal support to small and medium-sized enterprises, business households and individual businesses.

In the first 9 months of 2025, legal aid organizations nationwide have handled more than 16,600 cases, an increase of 21% over the same period in 2024. The Council's activities have contributed to raising awareness at all levels and sectors about the role and importance of legal dissemination and education; enhancing the quality and effectiveness of legal dissemination and education; ensuring the right to legal information, improving understanding and awareness of law observance of officials and people, making important contributions to the cause of socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and strengthening state management and social management by law...

At the conference, delegates from the Central Council for Legal Dissemination, provinces and cities focused on discussing the main contents in building Vietnamese legal policies to meet the requirements and tasks in the new period; the application of digital platforms in compiling documents, organizing online forums to answer legal questions for people and businesses; innovating and improving the quality of propaganda and legal dissemination work, especially for ethnic minorities and foreigners; policies to support funding, enhance training and skills development, especially multimedia communication skills for local legal officers.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thanh Long requested central ministries, branches, Council members, provinces and cities to focus on innovating policy communication work, applying digital technology to ensure timeliness, focus, key points, and close adherence to reality; promote orientation and communication on newly issued legal documents; closely follow the National Assembly's 2026 legislative program to develop an effective policy communication plan and draft documents; regularly orient, guide, and communicate on issues and legal contents of public interest, newly arising hot issues, ensuring timeliness and promptness.
