Designer Pham Tran Thu Hang has just officially launched the "Dream Weaving" collection, inspired by Vietnamese folklore in the movie "Cam" by director Tran Huu Tan, at Vietnam International Fashion Week. The Face champion Huynh Tu Anh is in the role of vedette with an impressive outfit and the image of the character Cam with multiple personalities in an elaborate mask. The collection is the voice of young people with new expressions of traditional cultural values and heritage of our ancestors. 28 designs mainly use silk, brocade, gauze and leather. In particular, the designers exploit the styles and patterns of Nguyen Dynasty costumes such as five-panel shirt with slit sleeves, Nhat Binh, Ao Tac, Doi Kham... On the other hand, the trendy outfits are cleverly designed with ancient motifs and details. Costumes are not only a blend of past and present, but also a touchpoint of beauty and tragedy, charm and mystery. As a young person, Thu Hang always strives to preserve the traditional cultural beauty of the nation, especially bringing folk cultural materials into costumes to suit future young generations. Director Tran Huu Tan said: “The collection really conveyed the messages that the movie Cam aimed for. In addition to bringing costumes that are very suitable for the characters in the movie, the designer also created his own, very unique creations.”
