Within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition, the space displaying achievements of the Publishing, Printing and Distribution industry vividly summarized the great contributions of the industry to socio-economic development, contributing to elevating Vietnamese culture in the new era.

A representative of the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution ( Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ) said that the exhibition has an area of over 500 m2, including two main areas: the area displaying books, artifacts, precious documents and the area selling books to serve the people. The exhibition space is designed with inspiration from the "gate of time" and the "revolutionary boat", evoking the journey of overcoming storms and rapids to gain independence for the Fatherland, happiness for the people, bringing the nation into a rich and prosperous era as General Secretary To Lam emphasized.
The exhibition area introduces to the public precious documents and valuable original artifacts... Among them, the most prominent are microform documents: 10,000 book titles published in Vietnam before 1954 donated by the French National Library in microfilm form; more than 4,300 rolls of microfilm taken by the National Library of Vietnam.

Along with that are valuable resistance books, recording many experiences and historical lessons that have been summarized and recorded in books for future generations to study and learn. The Resistance Bookcase collected by the National Library of Vietnam includes 4,000 book titles, reflecting on economic, cultural, educational, scientific aspects... especially the most abundant are documents on politics , military, propaganda work of the Party and State serving the successful resistance. These are valuable documents, marking a special historical period of the country as well as the work of publishing, printing, distributing, collecting and preserving documents....
Notably, the exhibition also displays books on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, including five works recognized as National Treasures: "The Revolutionary Path", "Prison Diary", "The Call for National Resistance", "The Call for Compatriots and Soldiers of the Whole Country" and "The Testament".

The highlight is the Typo 66 printing machine, which was donated by the General Confederation of Labor of China to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in February 1966. In 1972, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor donated the Typo 66 to the Liberation Trade Union Federation, and transferred it to the Tay Ninh R region - the Southern Central Bureau Base to print documents for the resistance war. After the country's reunification, the Typo 66 was transferred to the Trade Union Printing Factory and ended its historical role. More than half a century has passed, but this printing machine still carries within it the story of the indomitable will, solidarity and perseverance of the printers. The Typo 66 is not just an artifact, it is a vivid story of human perseverance and strength, a testament to the continuous development of the printing industry through the ages.
Not only stopping at printed books, the exhibition also opens up a space to experience thousands of e-books in many rich formats, including audiobooks, a type that is especially loved by young readers...
