To enjoy this dish, Nick went to a sidewalk crab noodle shop on Tran Phu Street. This is a place that a friend in Hanoi recommended to him.

When arriving here, Nick immediately saw that the crab noodle shop had a strong local style because it was nestled in a small alley with a few typical plastic tables and chairs.

There is also a fixed stall on the sidewalk with many trays of ingredients displayed and neatly arranged in glass cabinets.

The Western customer was also quite surprised because although it was a sidewalk restaurant, the dining area was very clean. The tables and chairs were cleaned and the furniture was neatly arranged.

“In Vietnam, if any restaurant is located in an alley, I'm almost sure it will have delicious food,” Nick shared.

A bowl of crab noodle soup filled with seafood surprised the Western guest.

At the restaurant, the American YouTuber ordered a mixed crab noodle dish. When the food was served, he was surprised by the attractive appearance of the dish.

The bowl of rice noodles with crab was filled with many attractive toppings such as shrimp, grilled pork with lolot leaves, fried fish, fish cakes, mantis shrimp... The portion was so full that Nick had to exclaim that the bowl was quite heavy, and even though he hadn't tasted it yet, he felt "full to the eye".

Nick tasted the first spoonful of broth and gasped in surprise, nodding his head repeatedly to show his enjoyment.

“The broth is delicious, clear, naturally sweet, and has the smell of field crab. The restaurant also serves fresh raw vegetables,” he said.

The foreign guest continued to enjoy and commented that the grilled pork roll with lolot leaves tasted like a type of sausage he had eaten before. The crab paste was fatty and soft.

The fish cake is rich in flavor, while the rice noodles are thick, chewy, and flavorful. “There are so many things in this dish and I find them all delicious,” Nick said.

The first time enjoying Hai Phong's famous specialty, Nick gave many compliments and raised his hand to show his satisfaction.

He also seemed pleased that the crab noodle dish was also served with water spinach, which harmonized the flavors and brought a fresh feeling.

“This is definitely one of my favorite dishes of all time,” he added.

In addition to being impressed by the taste of the crab noodle soup, the American guest was also surprised by the price. A full portion full of seafood like this costs only 35,000 VND.

Even the enthusiasm and friendliness of the restaurant owner is what makes him satisfied when experiencing dining here.

It is known that during his time exploring Hai Phong City, Nick not only enjoyed crab noodles but also tried some other attractive street foods such as caramel sweet soup, grilled meat sandwiches, grilled chicken wings, rice rolls...

He revealed that the restaurants were found randomly but the quality was fresh and the prices were reasonable.
