Opening of Spring Book and Newspaper Fair in Dam Ha district with 100 books and newspapers

In addition to mobilizing a large number of newspapers and magazines inside and outside the province; Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association also organized for reporters to create photo works and collect, edit, and publish photo panels on outstanding achievements of Quang Ninh province in 2023 (according to the theme of 10 typical events of the province) for display.

Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association also donated 2 sets of computers to the District Library, 10 scholarships (worth 1 million VND each) to students who have overcome difficulties and 1,000 pairs of socks to preschool children in the district. The Organizing Committee of the Spring Newspaper Festival also organized Tet gifts for families with meritorious services and disadvantaged households and coordinated with the organization of the Spring Flower Festival and the local Spring Fair at several other locations in Dam Ha District.

Mr. Do Ngoc Ha, Permanent Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association, said: The 2024 Spring Book and Newspaper Fair is an activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam , celebrate the glorious Party, and celebrate the Spring of Giap Thin 2024; at the same time, create more places for sightseeing, entertainment, and spring travel; promote books and newspapers; contribute to honoring reading culture, improving people's spiritual life.

It is known that Quang Ninh has organized 15 locations for displaying books and newspapers for Spring this year (including 13 districts, towns and cities of Quang Ninh province and 2 other locations). There are about 100 publications of Central newspapers and Spring newspapers of 62 provinces and cities nationwide; Spring newspapers and typical newspapers of the Provincial Media Center and Quang Ninh Journalists Association. Along with Spring newspapers, there are hundreds of books on the topic of the Party, Uncle Ho, Quang Ninh homeland, Tet customs... arranged artistically.
