Opening of "Southern amateur music space"

On the evening of October 17, the Organizing Committee of the Traditional Festival commemorating the 157th anniversary of the death of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc (1868 - 2025) held the opening ceremony of "Southern Amateur Music Space".

Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Culture and Arts Center Nguyen Thi Yen presented flowers to representatives of amateur music clubs participating in "Southern amateur music space".

Exchange performances at "Southern amateur music space".

The program is not only an opportunity to honor, preserve and promote the value of the art of Southern amateur music - a genre recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, but also an opportunity for artists and amateurs inside and outside the province to exchange, discuss and express their feelings through each sound of the instrument and each simple, profound song.

This is also an opportunity for the people of An Giang province and visitors from near and far to enjoy, feel and be proud of the unique cultural beauty of the Southern land - where people are gentle and affectionate, where melodies and songs like the Mekong River flow forever, nurturing the soul of the Vietnamese countryside.

"Southern amateur music space" will be held at 7:00 p.m., from October 17 to 19, at the Monument of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc.
