Opening of the 7th Typical Cultural Family Festival

Also this morning, 33 outstanding families from 11 groups with 132 members gathered in Duc Linh to prepare for this meaningful festival. In addition to being honored and recognized as outstanding cultural families, the families will participate in competitions such as “talented families”, “happy and healthy families”, along with other activities such as photo exhibitions, cultural exchanges, etc.

With the message "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation" , the activities of the festival also hope to contribute to preserving and promoting family cultural values ​​associated with the goal of "Building a prosperous, progressive, happy Vietnamese family, the nucleus, healthy cell of society, the home of each person; a place to nurture and cultivate personality, lifestyle that respects the good traditional ethics of the nation; promote and replicate good values ​​​​to contribute to promoting sustainable development of the country" . Thereby, effectively implementing Directive 06-CT/TW dated June 24, 2021 of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over family work in the new situation.

Organizing activities on the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day June 28 aims to honor and commend exemplary cultural families, creating conditions for families in districts, towns , cities and agencies, organizations, armed forces, and enterprises in the province to meet, exchange culture, arts, sports, exchange experiences in building happy families, introduce the unique family culture of each locality, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendliness among families in the province.

Districts hold photo exhibitions introducing scenic spots in their localities.

The contest is not only an activity to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day on June 28, but also responds to the National Action Month on preventing and combating domestic violence; the organization is diverse, rich, suitable for the ability and age of each family member. According to the Organizing Committee, the winning teams will represent the province to attend the 12th Southeast Provinces Family Festival in 2023 in Tay Ninh province and the 13th Southeast Provinces Family Festival in 2024 in Binh Thuan province. The contest will take place from June 7-9, 2023.
