
On the morning of October 18, at the City Exhibition House (No. 1 Nguyen Duc Canh, Le Chan Ward), the Hai Phong Fine Arts Association coordinated with the City Culture, Cinema and Exhibition Center (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to organize the opening and award ceremony of the Hai Phong Fine Arts Exhibition 2025.
Attending were leaders of the Hai Phong Literature and Arts Association, many artists and art lovers of the Port City.

This is the first official art exhibition after the merger of two localities into the new city of Hai Phong, marking a new development step of Hai Phong's fine arts with a larger number of creative forces, improved scale and quality of art. Not only gathering a large number of Hai Phong artists, the exhibition also attracted the participation of authors from many provinces and cities across the country, from the North, Central Highlands, South Central to the South. This spread continues to affirm the prestige and appeal of Hai Phong's fine arts in the flow of contemporary Vietnamese fine arts.

This year, the Organizing Committee displayed 93 works by 80 authors, expressed on many materials such as oil, acrylic, lacquer, silk, synthetic, ceramic, wood carving, sculpture... The Organizing Committee also awarded 12 prizes to outstanding works, including 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes. 3 second prizes belonged to the works "Lao Wind" (Dinh Minh Thien), "Nguyen Choi" (Phung Van Tue), "Time Traces" (Nguyen Phuong Bac).

This year's exhibition is an opportunity for art lovers to admire new works that reflect the breath of the times, while also creating opportunities for exchange and connection between the Hai Phong fine arts community and other provinces and cities across the country, contributing to spreading the love of art and affirming the position of Hai Phong - a city of creativity and art.
The exhibition is open until October 24, 2025.
