Khanh Hoa: Strictly handle the situation of betting billboards

Accordingly, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to inspect, review, rectify and strictly handle violations, in order to ensure order, urban beauty and compliance with legal regulations on advertising.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also required to strengthen propaganda and guide organizations, individuals and business establishments to properly implement regulations; report implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee before November 3, 2025.

People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones are responsible for proactively conducting regular inspections, promptly detecting and strictly handling violations in the area.

Previously, as SGGP Newspaper reported, recently there has been a situation where some restaurants, eateries, and service establishments have hung illegal online betting advertising boards, spoiling the urban beauty.

In particular, on Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue (through Cam Lam Commune, the route from Cam Ranh Airport to Nha Trang City Center), a large betting billboard appeared, illuminated at night. After the newspaper published the article on September 20, the authorities conducted an inspection, but the billboard was removed and the area was restored to its original state.
