Recorded in the area of Nhu Nguyet Street (Hai Chau Ward), large waves continuously appeared due to the Han River flowing back from the sea, hitting the embankment, causing many strong collisions. Some lamp posts, stone benches, sidewalks were damaged, many sections of railings were collapsed.

Faced with this situation, the authorities have mobilized manpower and equipment, using rock sacks and sandbags to initially handle high-risk areas. However, large waves continue to flood in, making the recovery work difficult.

Currently, Nhu Nguyet Street has been barricaded, restricting people from accessing dangerous areas due to the risk of deep flooding and many debris and rocks drifting.

According to the Central Hydrometeorological Station, on the morning of October 23, the tropical depression (weakened from storm No. 12) dissolved into a low pressure area after entering the coastal area of Hue - Da Nang. In the next 12 hours, the low pressure area will continue to move southwest and continue to gradually dissipate.

It is forecasted that from the night of October 23 to noon on October 25, Da Nang is likely to experience moderate to very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with rainfall ranging from 150-300mm in general, and over 400mm in some places in the southern mountainous areas. Warning of heavy rain (over 120mm in 3 hours), concentrated from early morning on October 24 to morning on October 25.
