Launching the English competition for students "Star Awards" in 2025

(CT) - The 2025 "Star Awards" English competition for students officially launched its online round from September 8. The competition has the theme "Generation Z - Voice of the future". This is an academic playground organized by the Youth Union of Can Tho University in coordination with the Youth Unions of national universities, regional universities and key universities for students of universities and colleges across the country.

Candidates won high prizes at the final round of the Can Tho cluster competition, organized by Can Tho University youth in 2024.

The online round will take place from September 8 to October 6, 2025, the selection round from October 10 to October 17, 2025, and the national final round is scheduled to take place on December 5 and 6, 2025. For the online round, there are 2 forms: answering multiple choice questions at https://starawards.vn (each contestant has a maximum of 6 attempts in 4 weeks), video clips (each contestant makes a video clip in English, maximum 3 minutes, talking about the contest theme). The Organizing Committee will select 100 contestants from the online round to take the English skills and topic knowledge test, through the form of video clips/live/online interviews and select the 18 best contestants to participate in the cluster final round. Then, continue to select the 6 best teams representing the 6 clusters to enter the national final round.

The competition contributes to encouraging students to study, improve foreign language skills, presentation skills, debate skills and other skills, to equip them with skills for future careers.
