During this cold air mass, the lowest temperature in the North and North Central regions is generally from 15 - 18 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North it is generally 12 - 15 degrees Celsius, in the high mountainous areas it is below 11 degrees Celsius.

Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of Weather Forecast Department (National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting), said that from the night of November 30 to December 3, the Central provinces will experience a new widespread heavy rain with total rainfall of 100 - 300 mm, in some places over 400 mm.

From the afternoon of November 30, in the Gulf of Tonkin, there will be strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8, waves 2-4 m high, rough seas; in the northern East Sea (including the waters of the Hoang Sa archipelago), there will be strong northeast winds of level 6-7, gusts of level 8-9, waves 4-6 m high. Rough seas.

From December 1, the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai and the northern part of the central East Sea will have northeast winds gradually increasing to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves 2-3.5 m high, rough seas.

Mr. Tuan commented that this winter, the cold air is weaker than the average of many years, and the temperature is higher. It is likely that severe cold will appear later (the first severe cold spell of winter 2022 will appear at the end of December 2022, similar to the average of many years). In addition, the number of days with severe cold is also less than the average of many years.
