Cold air strengthens, Central region has heavy rain and strong winds

In the North and Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, the weather continues to be very cold, especially in mountainous areas; in the area from Ha Tinh to Thua Thien Hue, the weather is very cold. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flash floods in small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes, and inundation in low-lying areas.
