Kim Thanh quickly clears the land for the National Highway 5 interchange project

Kim Thanh District Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council pays compensation to people whose land area is recovered to implement the National Highway 5 interchange project.

According to the People's Committee of Kim Thanh district, by December 31, the district had completed site clearance for the Project to build an interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, Hanoi - Hai Phong railway in Kim Xuyen commune, and at the same time completed the disbursement of public investment capital for the project with an amount of more than 330 billion VND, 1 month ahead of schedule.

To implement the Project of Construction of Interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway, Kim Xuyen Commune, Kim Thanh District must recover more than 15 hectares of residential land, agricultural land of 291 organizations and individuals. Of which, there are more than 7.5 hectares of agricultural land, 7.26 hectares of residential land and non-agricultural land. The total amount of payment for site clearance is initially estimated at more than 390 billion VND.

To speed up the progress of site clearance and disbursement of public investment capital for the project, since mid-2024, the entire political system of Kim Thanh district has been involved in propagating and mobilizing households and organizations whose land has been recovered to agree and hand over the site. Relevant units urgently prepare documents, develop payment and compensation plans, etc.

The Investment Project to build an interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, Hanoi - Hai Phong railway in Kim Xuyen commune, Kim Thanh district has a total investment of 1,867 billion VND (from the central budget and provincial budget). The project is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Management Board. It is expected that this interchange will start construction in early 2025.
