Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Lawyers' Traditional Day

- On the evening of October 10, the Provincial Bar Association organized a celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese Lawyers' Tradition Day (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2025).

Attending the celebration program were leaders of the Department of Justice; former leaders of the Provincial Lawyers Association; Executive Board of the Provincial Bar Association and member lawyers.

During the program, delegates reviewed the 80-year journey of formation and development of the Vietnamese lawyer team.

Over the past eight decades, the national team of lawyers has grown steadily, affirming its important role in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations; actively participating in disseminating and educating the law, providing legal aid, resolving disputes, and contributing to maintaining security, order and social discipline.

On November 6, 1989, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 343 to establish the Provincial Bar Association, with 3 members. Up to now, after more than 35 years of formation and development, the Provincial Bar Association currently has 57 lawyers and 9 trainee members practicing law. The whole province currently has 26 law practice organizations. From 2007 to now, law practice organizations in the province have received and performed over 5,000 cases, legal services of all kinds...

Promoting the glorious tradition, in the coming time, the Provincial Bar Association and law practice organizations will continue to improve their professional qualifications, professional ethics and sense of responsibility; actively participate in disseminating laws, providing legal advice and assistance, building a team of lawyers who are " politically steadfast, professionally skilled, respectful of professional ethics, and compassionate", contributing to protecting justice, human rights and promoting sustainable socio-economic development in the province.
