As the most intelligent people in the world, why is the Jewish population so small?

After thousands of years of development, the number of about 10 million people is even several times less than some other ethnic minorities. So why with their intelligence and talent, the Jewish population does not increase?

"Closed-door" policy

Unlike other nations that pursued a strategy of openness and colonization, the Jews followed a self-contained path. In order to maintain their religion and customs, they refused to intermarry and integrate with other ethnic groups.
