Chut village in disarray after the flood

Over the past few days, the people of Lang Chut village, Van Ban commune have not yet recovered from the shock of the sudden flood that struck on the afternoon of September 29th caused by storm No. 10. After the flood, Lang Chut was left with only desolation and ruins.

In just a moment, millions of cubic meters of earth, rock, mud and sand rushed down the Chut stream, flooding the village.

In recent days, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Van Ban commune have been regularly present at Lang Chut, directly directing the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Local authorities directed forces to promptly help people, especially to clear the flow; reinforce key locations in the Chut stream area to avoid landslides and prevent mud, soil, and sand from continuing to flood into the village.
