Medical staff instruct people in flooded areas on how to treat domestic water.
The working groups went to the localities, health centers, commune health stations, and households to check the situation, provide guidance on domestic water treatment, environmental sanitation, and infectious disease prevention. At the same time, additional Cloramine B and Aquatabs were distributed to heavily flooded localities to treat water sources. Previously, the health sector had distributed these disinfectants to health units in the province, providing timely support for storm recovery and public health protection.

The delegation noted that local health centers and commune health stations have been very proactive in prevention activities during and after the storm and flood season. They proactively received supplies and chemicals and distributed them to affected people in a timely manner. At the same time, they advised local authorities, guided and worked with people to clean the environment, treat domestic water sources and closely monitor the epidemic situation during the rainy and flood season.
