- On October 8, the provincial working delegation led by Ms. Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, inspected and directed flood response work in the communes of Huu Lung, Van Nham, Yen Binh, and Tuan Son.

Joining the working delegation were comrade Luong Trong Quynh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of departments and branches.

Due to the influence of storm No. 11, on October 6 and 7, the province had moderate rain, some places had heavy rain leading to flooding in many places. In particular, the communes of Huu Lung, Van Nham, Yen Binh, Tuan Son (belonging to the old Huu Lung district) were severely affected. By October 8, the water level was still high, causing flooding of many houses, properties, and crops of the people. Many villages in the 4 communes were still flooded, isolated, and the electricity and telecommunication systems were interrupted...

Comrade Luong Trong Quynh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed a rescue plan.

During the inspection, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee directed the rapid establishment of 4 working groups to directly direct the response to floods and inundation in 4 communes. He requested units and forces to focus on rescue and relief; quickly provide food and other essential necessities to people in isolated areas.

During the inspection program, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee went to flooded areas and riverbanks to direct relevant units and forces as well as directly receive information from people to promptly direct support forces.
