Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation visits and supports union members and workers affected by storm No. 3

At the destinations, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor sent their warm regards and sympathized with the losses that workers and their families are suffering; at the same time, they encouraged the spirit, hoping that union members would soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and continue to work and produce with peace of mind.

Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Provincial Labor Federation visited and presented support money to union member Nguyen Thi My Vien (Trade Union of Nghi Phong Joint Venture Company Limited) whose house collapsed due to storm No. 3.

Most of the supported cases had their roofs blown off, houses collapsed, and property severely damaged, seriously affecting their residence and daily life. In particular, many people are the main workers, raising young children or sick elderly people, and their lives are extremely difficult. Sharing the difficulties with union members and workers, the Provincial Labor Federation decided to support 2 million VND/person, with a total cost of 46 million VND, taken from the union's financial resources according to Decision No. 1411/QD-TLĐ of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Provincial Labor Federation , Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, together with representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation's Organization Department and the Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company's Trade Union visited and shared difficulties with union member Le Thi Truc Ly - Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company's Trade Union, whose house had its roof completely blown off by storm No. 3.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the Union's timely care and concern for union members and workers affected by natural disasters, helping them to ease difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
