Naval Brigade 167 organized a sports festival to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

On the afternoon of December 16, in Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, Brigade 167 (Naval Region 2) organized the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day.

The Brigade soldiers performed three-step jumps with their feet together without momentum.

The sports festival takes place over 4 days (from December 16 to December 19, 2024) with competitions such as: bodybuilding, Pickleball, 500m swimming, chin-up, triple jump, push-ups, parallel bars, and tire flips.

The sports festival aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, build solidarity; promote the health training movement, and is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day.

The day after the opening ceremony, athletes competed in the following events: Pickleball, chin-ups, triple jumps, and push-ups.
