Thuan Nam district armed forces effectively carry out the Emulation movement to win

Imbued with Uncle Ho's teaching "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation and those who emulate are the most patriotic", in recent years, the emulation movement to win (TĐQT) of the armed forces of Thuan Nam district has been effectively implemented and achieved many outstanding results, actively contributing to improving overall quality, fighting strength, readiness to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

Implementing the emulation movement for the period 2019-2024, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Thuan Nam district directed the Party committee, government and the district's armed forces to focus on bringing the emulation content towards successfully implementing the central political task, closely linking with the local emulation movement and emulation movements and campaigns of all levels and sectors. At the same time, based on the characteristics and situation of the local defense and military tasks, plans, targets and launches of emulation in a specific and quality manner were developed. Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Dinh Tan, Commander of the Thuan Nam District Military Command, said: Closely following the theme and emulation content of each year and the tasks assigned by superiors, the District Military Command and the Emulation and Reward Council of the District's Armed Forces have organized and launched high-point emulation campaigns to celebrate holidays, anniversaries and important political events of the Party, State, army and locality. Emulation activities in the performance of training, drills, competitions, sports, law enforcement, discipline and military safety are associated with the effective implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW, Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the movement "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period. In order for the TĐQT movement to be deployed in an orderly and quality manner, the Party Committee of the District Military Command attaches importance to implementation measures, from developing plans, regulations, implementation instructions to organizing the signing of emulation covenants between grassroots units in each emulation and raid emulation period; considering emulation as a measure and driving force to create a combined strength, contributing significantly to the successful completion of local defense and military tasks. In practice, the TĐQT movement has directly contributed to building agencies and units that are strong in politics, ideology, organization and cadres; building a contingent of cadres and soldiers with firm political will, high determination, ready to receive and complete all tasks well. Through emulation work, cadres and party members in the district military always have the desire to contribute, mature, and complete their tasks well. Every year, 100% of party organizations and party members in the district Military Party Committee complete their tasks well, over 90% of party members complete their tasks excellently; 100% of commune military party cells are clean and strong.

In parallel with the emulation to successfully complete the central political tasks, the movement of the Armed Forces of Thuan Nam district is also associated with the movement "Building a regular, green, clean, beautiful agency and unit" and building a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary, typical", the movement "Army joins hands to build new countryside", "Army joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", the work of "repaying gratitude", military rear policies... As a result, in the past 5 years, the District Military Command has organized 15 mass mobilization campaigns in many difficult areas, remote and isolated areas of the district, combined with visiting and giving gifts to families of people with revolutionary contributions, single-parent families with difficult circumstances, cleaning up the martyrs' memorial area, community house area, concreted 3,500m of inter-village roads and dredged over 5km of intra-field canals. The District Military Command also coordinated with Phuoc Nam commune to select a poor household to support 2 cows worth 25 million VND and support 15 million VND in capital for a poor household in Nhi Ha commune to develop the economy, gradually rising up to escape poverty sustainably.

By implementing comprehensively and synchronously with many practical and effective measures, the emulation and commendation work and the international movement of the Armed Forces of Thuan Nam district have been promoting the initiative, creativity, and timely encouragement of the enthusiasm and determination of officers and soldiers in performing their tasks. As a result of implementing the international movement in the period of 2019-2024, the armed forces of the district have been awarded the title of "Comprehensively Strong Unit" by the Military Region 5 Command for 3 consecutive years and 112 collectives and 209 individuals have been awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee and all levels and branches for their outstanding achievements in performing local defense and military tasks and high-point emulation movements and raids. These are truly beautiful flowers in the international flower garden of the armed forces of Thuan Nam district.
