The train runs daily and covers a distance of 1,726km. The author of the article commented that this is one of the most popular railway lines in Southeast Asia and is also the most impressive overnight train journey in the world.

With a travel time of about 2 days, passengers can visit provinces from South to North through the windows. The train passes through ancient cities, historical tourist attractions and glides along the spectacular coastal route. The natural landscape of the S-shaped country will be fast-forwarded like a movie.

Previously in 2018, this site also voted the North-South railway line in the list of "10 most beautiful railway lines in the world".
