Quang Tri: Discovered and gathered 29 martyrs' remains and many relics

On October 8, according to information from the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Relic Site and the Bo De School Historical Relic Site (Ward 3, Quang Tri Ward), the 584 Martyr Remains Search and Collection Team (Political Department, Quang Tri Provincial Military Command) conducted a survey, organized a search and collected 29 martyrs' remains and many important relics.

Accordingly, from mid-September until now, during the process of restoring and embellishing relics in the southern area of ​​Quang Tri province, the construction unit discovered relics of soldiers and reported them to local authorities.

After receiving information from the local authorities, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command directed Team 584 to conduct a survey and organize a search. During the mission, the unit discovered and collected 27 martyrs' remains at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Relic Site and 2 martyrs' remains at the Bo De School Historical Relic Site (Ward 3, Quang Tri Ward), along with many relics such as infantry shovels, mortar helmets, AK ammunition boxes, etc.

Currently, 29 martyrs' remains have been brought to the Reception House of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Relic Site. Here, the martyrs' remains are being preserved and offered incense by officers and staff of Team 584 in coordination with local Party committees, authorities, and socio- political agencies.

On the afternoon of October 8, the working delegation of the Steering Committee 515 of Quang Tri province, led by Mr. Le Duc Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee 515 of the province, came to burn incense to pay respect to the souls of 29 heroic martyrs at the Reception House of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Relic Site. Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien and the members of the delegation offered incense, respectfully bowed, expressing their deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who did not spare their blood and bones, bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country.

The working delegation of the Steering Committee 515 of Quang Tri province also visited and encouraged the staff of Team 584 and related units and forces.
