Maguire to Saudi Arabia?

Harry Maguire's future is in the spotlight at Manchester United, with the England centre-back set to enter the final months of his contract and reportedly a transfer target for two Saudi Pro League giants – Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq.

According to Mirror , both clubs are ready to make huge offers for the 32-year-old as soon as the January transfer window opens. With his current contract expiring in June 2026 - after United activated a one-year extension clause "without consulting the player" - Maguire will be free to negotiate with foreign clubs from January 1, 2026.

Speaking in August, the former MU captain admitted: "That clause is in the hands of the club, I can't do anything else. At the end of this year, we will have to sit down and discuss what the future will be."

Since Ruben Amorim took over, Maguire has been reduced to a rotation option alongside £52 million new signing Leny Yoro. In the win over Sunderland in round 7 of the Premier League on October 4, he was only brought on in the 85th minute, when the home team was leading 2-0 - an image that symbolizes the current lackluster position.

Despite having 64 caps for England, Maguire was removed from the latest squad by coach Thomas Tuchel and faces the risk of missing the 2026 World Cup if he cannot regain his starting position.

Between the prospect of ending his career in financial glory in the Middle East or continuing to fight for his place at Old Trafford, Maguire is facing his most important decision since joining United in 2019.
