On June 20, Mbappe returned to training with the French team wearing a multi-colored mask. However, this item may not be allowed on the field because it does not comply with UEFA regulations.

According to article 42: " Medical equipment worn on the field of play must be of a single colour and must not be identified by team or manufacturer." Therefore, Mbappe will have to replace it with a mask or protective cover that is only one colour.

RMC Sport reported that when signing a contract with Real Madrid, the player born in 1998 was given plain masks, suitable for use at EURO 2024. But currently, the French Football Federation has not confirmed that Mbappe will return and use a mask in the match.

Regarding Mbappe, coach Didier Deschamps said that the player is showing positive changes and is ready to play. He will continue to evaluate the striker's fitness and other factors before the match begins.
